Paul Heidemann is the Managing Director of our Construction Division and part of the C3 ownership team. Paul began his career at John Burnham & Company in 1995 before moving on to Barney and Barney in 2007 where he led the construction practice. He continued his leadership through the transition to MMA where the practice group had record growth.
Paul has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry. His expertise includes providing risk management and brokerage services from medium to large construction companies, environmental and remediation contractors, homebuilders and residential development. In addition to construction, he has expertise in nonprofit housing developments, real estate companies, heavy industry and other large businesses.
A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Paul has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor and the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist.
As a San Diego native, he enjoys playing beach volleyball and golf, but his biggest passion is being a dad to his kids. Paul lives in Solana Beach with his fiancé, Di, and they enjoy their constant rotating door of five kids, friends and family.
